Stand up stright with your shoulders relaxed. Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other, across the beck, where the shoulder seam of a suit would typically sit.
Stand up straight with your arms relaxed at your sides. Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your chest, usually just under your armpits and around the nipples. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight.
Stand with your arm slightly bent at the elbow. Measure from the shoulder seam (where the shoulder meets the arm) down to your elbow and then from your elbow to your wrist bone. Ensure the tape follows the natural curve of your arm.
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your upper arm (bicep) while your arm is relaxed and hanging naturally by your side. Pro Tip: Do not flex your arm — keep it relaxed to ensure an accurate fit for sleeve width.
Measure around your neck over your Adam’s apple following its natural curve. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight.
Measure from the the point where the shoulder seam meets the collar, allow the measuring tape to go over chest and belly all the way to your thigh to the point parallel to your thumbs shown in the illustration above. Pro tip: Ensure the tape runs straight down the front of your torso. keep the measuring tape straight but not too tight or too loose.
Measure around the fullest part of your stomach — usually at or just above the belly button. Stand straight, keep your stomach relaxed (don’t suck in or push out), and ensure the tape is snug but not tight.
